How long have you worked in the UAC? How many total at WSU? 
20 years

What is your educational background? 
BA in Secondary Education, Purdue University
MA in Counseling, Oakland University
EdS in Instructional Technology, Wayne State University

Do you work with any specialized student populations?
I work with all the students served by the UAC and students who have been reinstated to the University after exclusion/dismissal.

What are you currently reading/watching?
I enjoy watching “Legend of the Seeker”, “NCIS”, “Chuck”. I read science fiction and fantasy and finish about a book a week.


Do you have a philosophy for Advising?
In my mind, advising is the practice of assisting students to become aware of their goals, interests and strengths, helping them take responsibility for their choices and advocating for students until they can become their own advocate.


If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you HAVE to have?
My iPod, a really good book, and picture of my family
