How many years have you worked in the UAC? How many years at WSU?
4 (since April 2006)

What is your educational background?
I have a BA in History from the University of Virginia. I attended WSU as a post-bachelor student studying psychology and biology.

Do you work with any specialized student populations?
I work with pre-medical and other health science students.

What are you currently reading/watching?
I’m currently addicted to the last season of “Lost” and also to “MI-5”. I just finished reading “North & South” by Elizabeth Gaskell and I am working on “Parenting with Love & Logic” by Foster Cline and Jim Fay.

Do you have a philosophy for Advising?
My philosophy is that I cannot answer everything for you, but I can help you ask the right questions.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you HAVE to have?
1. A picture of my family
2. Sunscreen so I don’t turn into a crispy critter
3. A copy of a good book like “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamont or “Cane River” by Lalita Tademay or “The Secret Life of Bees” by Sue Monk Kidd
